The ChargeControl system is the layer that turns connected vehicles, chargers, meters, and sessions into one governed dataset. Rather than each domain keeping its own record of activity, home, public, workplace, and depot charging all resolve into the same operational view, with roles and policy determining who can see and act on what.
That governance is enforced consistently as more sites, drivers, and hardware come online, so the underlying data model does not fragment as the network grows. Open protocols such as OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15118 Plug & Charge, Modbus, and EEBus keep the hardware and network layer interoperable underneath it.
Because the system is the shared foundation, energy management, settlement, and reporting all work from the same governed records instead of reconciling separate copies of the same activity.
